Tom Feakins is an experienced Master Mariner with over 15 years’ maritime experience. During that time Tom has worked on a wide variety of renewables, oil and gas and marine projects worldwide. Tom has served on a wide range of vessels including anchor handling and harbour tugs, supply vessels, survey vessels, private yachts and cruise ships.

Tom has also contributed to the management of renewables projects including the Beatrice, Moray East and SeaGreen wind farms. Oil and Gas projects include towage of Jack Up, Semi Submersible drilling rigs and specialist tows; such as pipeline bundles and concrete caissons.

In addition to extensive operational experience of leading teams of marine professionals, Tom has a keen interest in professional development, regularly conducting online coaching sessions for those sitting their Master Mariner exams. Tom holds Bachelors Degrees in History and Marine Operations, and a MSc. in Marine Operations. Tom also provides assistance and advice to legal firms on maritime law cases and to a leading publishing house in the maritime industry as a technical editor on recent and upcoming publications.
